Marc is a former collegiate athlete that had the freedom to eat what every he wanted when he was younger. Sadly, Marc has witnessed his mother and sibling die from the ravages of type 2 diabetes. He has seen other siblings lose limbs and their sight from what he thought was a genetic disease. As the years progressed Marc soon found himself diagnosed with type 2 diabetes requiring oral medications and insulin. He was terrified of his future until he watched Forks Over Knives and the light bulb moment happened. Marc and his wife went on to read books and educate themselves and soon he was no longer a diabetic!
